Mr. Willie Shepard is one of our Guidance Counselors. He has a Bachelor of Science from South Carolina State University and also has further studies with the University of South Carolina and Clemson University. Mr. Shepard wants to help students with their personal, social, academic and career development needs. He also wants to help students develop problem-solving and decision-making skills. Mr. Shepard hopes to encourage, inspire, and motivate students to do their very best academically and to set goals for their future success.
Mrs. Kenley is also one of our Guidance Counselors. She has a BA in Organizational Management from Claflin University and a Master of Education, Counselor Education from South Carolina State University. This is her fifth year at NMS. She and her husband, Karl, have three children, Tierrney, Handy, and Zion.
