A message from our Principal

    Welcome to Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School home of the ROARing Tigers!  The 2009-2010 school year was filled with excitement as we began an educational journey in a new building.  Pomaria-Garmany Elementary School is “Anchored in Excellence” and students will continue to receive a quality education, in a 21st century facility. We are also a PBIS school.  PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention Support. We are focusing on the positive behaviors. No child wants to misbehave and we are looking to make long-term, durable lifestyle changes for the students. A caring community and the need to belong are essential to make PBIS work. We are working as a team to create interventions and strategies to meet specific needs of students. I hope that you have heard your students talk about ROARing and Zone 0.
