      Mission Statement

The mission of Reuben Elementary School, in partnership with families and the community, is to educate all students in a safe, nurturing, and creative environment to become responsible, productive citizens in an ever-changing society.   

Belief Statements

• Children do not care what we know until they know that we care.
• The chief priority of the school is to actively engage students in the learning process through our curriculum that is fully aligned with the South Carolina Academic standards.
• Every individual must understand and be responsible for his/her choices and actions.
• All children are unique and have the ability to learn regardless of his/her learning styles.
• A supportive learning environment within our school is a collaborative effort of the school faculty, students, families, and community members.
