Greetings from the art room! I am Mrs. Epperson. I am very excited to be working with your
child at Newberry Elementary School this year.
Hopefully, your child will enjoy my class. We will be creating a lot of interesting artwork. I enjoy teaching art about different
cultures and artists. We will also
learn the principles of art. Talk to
your child and find out which days they will be attending art class. We may be painting, using oil pastels, or
working with clay. You may want to
remind them to wear older clothes on art days.
Encourage them to bring home their art work and discuss it with you or
display it in your home. Encourage your
child to take pride in all of their school work. I will be displaying work in the halls, at school performances,
and in community events. It is a great
honor to have your child’s art displayed.
Talk to them about always doing their best. Come by to visit us anytime.
