Mrs. Latrisha Tucker

Hello Parent(s)/Guardian(s)! My name is Latrisha Tucker. I am a native of New Haven, Connecticut and a product of the South Carolina higher learning system. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from S.C. State University in 1995, and received my Masters from Converse College in the field of Early Childhood Education. I live in Buffalo, S.C., and for those of you who don’t know where Buffalo is, it is in Union County. I am the mother of three children, two boys and a girl. Although a lot of your child’s learning is acquired through play, your child will be introduced to their shapes, ABC’s, colors, socialization skills, how to follow directions and begin to become independent. They will also be introduced to parts of a book, author and illustrator, rhyming and parts of a story. They will be introduced to Science through key experiences by investigating interest areas. Math is introduced through hands-on activities. They will also learn to write their names. My teaching assistant is Sharon Hunter. Together, we are looking forward to a busy and successful year with our students!
