We are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Johnathan Abney as the next Principal of Gallman Elementary School. Dr. Abney will join the district on July 1, 2023, from his most recent position as Assistant Principal at Windsor Elementary School in Richland County School District 2. Dr. Abney received his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Lander University, and his Master of Educational Leadership and Doctor of Education from Grand Canyon University. Dr. Abney has previously been an elementary teacher and maintains his National Board Professional Teaching Standards certification while serving as an administrator.
