We are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Era Roberts as the next Director of Accountability, Assessment, and Professional Development. Dr. Roberts will join the district on July 1, 2023, from her most recent position as Assistant Principal of Instruction at Batesburg-Leesville High School. Dr. Roberts received her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and M.A.T. in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University and her M.Ed. and Ed.D. from the University of South Carolina in Education Administration and Curriculum and Instruction with an Educational Technology concentration. Dr. Roberts has been previously recognized by SCASA as the 2022 Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year and by SCASCD as a 2022 Emerging Leader.
