NMS is leading all SDNC middle schools in i-Ready Completed Lessons and Time on Task – Great job, students!
Please encourage your student to complete all assignments and always do their personal best.
🏈 Athletics:
Volleyball: 4-3
Football: 2-0 (plus wins in both scrimmages as of 9/24/25)
Reminder: For Friday night football and NMS home games, students must be accompanied by a parent. Admission: $6.00

Congratulations to the Newberry Middle School Football Team for a successful car wash fundraiser held on Saturday, September 13 at Advance Auto Parts!
We are incredibly grateful to Advance Auto Parts for partnering with the school and allowing our student-athletes to use their facility.
Excellent job by the coaches, staff, and athletes for organizing and running such a smooth and steady event. It was a great day of hard work, teamwork, and community support — and a very successful fundraiser!

PSAT INFORMATION
We are excited to share plans for our upcoming Literacy Night on Tuesday, September 16! This year, families will participate in a scavenger hunt that guides them through activities on each hallway. At every stop, they’ll engage in fun, literacy-focused activities led by our ELA teachers. Along the way, families will collect clues and enjoy an evening of reading, writing, and community.
To make the night even more engaging, we are offering amazing incentives through a raffle drawing:
